Girl Guide camp in 1944

A friend of mine shared this photo from a Girl Guide Camp in 1944!

and she says:

They had to wear full uniform all day, every day
(and they were dresses, NO PANTS).

The girl in the middle is my mother and this was taken July 27, 1944 at Bonita Glen Girl Guide Camp, Hawkestone, Ontario
