A friend of mine shared this photo from a Girl Guide Camp in 1944!


and she says:

 They had to wear full uniform all day, every day
(and they were dresses, NO PANTS).



The girl in the middle is my mother and this was taken July 27, 1944 at Bonita Glen Girl Guide Camp, Hawkestone, Ontario

Camp Kah Ne Do Clean Up Day


Camp Kah Ne Do Clean Up Day

A note from the Kah Ne Do camp committee:
Please join us!
Our camp clean up day on
Saturday May 2nd 1 pm to 4 pm.
We have lots of small and big things to do.
Tents put up to make sure they are okay
Back of shelters checked and ready for campers
Check patrol boxes to make sure they have correct items in them
Fridges wiped out.
Branches and sticks picked up
Woodsheds checked for wood and straightened up.
Just to mention a few of the things.

There is a Brownie group in the chalet so when come just meet us at Sumac site.
Even if you can only come for a short time it would be appreciated
Water, Juice, Coffee, Tea and snacks provided
Hope to see you there.
